About Horse Boarding Georgia
We are building this from the ground up, which is not something most barns can say. New fencing set before horses arrive rather than patched around them. Gates, water, and turnout laid out for how the place will actually be used every day, in Georgia weather, by people carrying feed buckets in the dark.
That is the whole idea: get the boring infrastructure right first, because the boring infrastructure is what keeps horses safe. Fence integrity, water in a freeze, drainage in a wet February, shade in August, and a person who looks at every horse every single day.
The barn and property your horse would live on
Our farm at 5750 Holiday Rd in Buford — the barn, the board-fenced pastures, and the turnout, shot from the air so you can see the whole layout before you visit.
What we will and will not tell you
We will tell you what board actually costs for your horse, what turnout looks like, who does chores on Sunday, and what happens if your horse colics at midnight. We will tell you if the drive from your house is going to wear you down, and we will tell you if a different board type — including a cheaper one — is the better fit.
What you will not find on this site is a wall of stock testimonials, invented awards, or claims about facilities that do not exist yet. When the barn is finished, the photos here will be of this barn. Until then, we would rather say plainly where things stand.
How we think about horse care
Movement first
Horses are built to walk and eat for most of the day. Turnout is not a luxury add-on; it is the foundation of gut health, hoof quality, and a settled mind. Every board type here includes real daily turnout, and for many horses living out full time is the healthiest option available.
Forage before grain
Most horses need hay and grass far more than they need a scoop of feed. Grain has its place for hard keepers, seniors, and horses in heavy work, but the default answer to a thin horse is usually more forage and a dental exam, not a bigger bucket.
Daily eyes on every horse
The single most valuable thing a barn does is notice. Grain left behind, a change in manure, heat in a leg, a horse standing apart from the herd — catching those on day one is the difference between a phone call and an emergency. You will hear from us when something changes, including when it is inconvenient.
Honesty about limits
No barn does everything well. If your horse needs a discipline-specific program, a rehab setup, or veterinary supervision we cannot provide, we will say so rather than take your money and hope.
